There may be a scientific answer to this query. Plaque-causing bacteria in your mouth multiply while you're asleep. As a result, you can experience "morning breath" and a "mossy" flavour. Using fluoride toothpaste will help you clean the plaque and bacteria off of your teeth. Additionally, brushing your teeth before breakfast protects your enamel by adding an extra layer of defence against the acid from food.

You should wait at least 30 minutes after eating an acidic food or beverage before brushing your teeth. Breakfast staples that fit the description of acidic food include toast, citrus, and coffee. The optimal time to brush your teeth is in the morning because this is when saliva production is at its highest.
